ABOUT
Katelyn Buckley is a full time real estate accountant, but is still living her dream as a professional musician in Nashville, Tennessee. Known for her powerful vocals and soulful work on bass, fiddle, and guitar, Katelyn has recently performed at the Station Inn and Jane's Hideaway in downtown Music City as well as numerous other venues around Nashville. She currently plays in a traditional bluegrass band, Grasstime, as well as her own headlining band, the Katelyn Buckley Bluegrass Band.
Katelyn’s repertoire weaves through bluegrass, country, and jazz – but whatever she’s picking, you can bet she’s grinning, too. Katelyn was raised on the family ranch in Roundup, Montana. From the age of 4, she knew her way around a fiddle.
Katelyn grew up playing in the family band with her parents and two older brothers. Sharing a stage with her family is still her favorite kind of jam. Katelyn has also spent the last 25 summers helping her family build the legendary Montana Fiddle Camp.
Thanks to all those years fiddling around and belting out “You Are My Sunshine,” she holds 2 Montana State Fiddle Championships as well as a Wyoming State Vocal and Fiddle Championship. Keep an eye out for Katelyn's upcoming performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on July 22nd as well as a featured vocalist on Greg Blake's upcoming duet "Not Far From Hope".
